FDA Panel Votes Against Arena’s Diet Drug

It looks like Arena's weight-loss drug, Iorcaserin, is stepping closer to FDA rejection after the administration's advisory panel recommended denying the drug. The FDA will make the final decision Oct. 22.

Another diet drug, Arena Pharmaceuticals’s Iorcaserin, appears to be in danger after a U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel voted to reject it Thursday.
