In the first 10 days after its launch, Microsoft (MSFT) said that it has sold more than 1 million of its hands-free Kinect gaming systems.
The software giant is hoping that the Kinect, which plugs into an Xbox and lets you play games just by moving your body or speaking commands, will help boost Xbox sales and fend off competition from Nintendo (NTDOY) and Sony (SNE).

Motorola Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Microsoft

In the latest round of a fight between two technology giants, Motorola punched back at Microsoft Wednesday with a patent infringement lawsuit. Its subsidiary, Motorola Mobility, filed 16 infringement claims against the software giant over its Windows mobile software, as well as its PC and server software and Xbox products.
