Toyota Recalls 2.2 Million More Vehicles for Unintended Acceleration Problems

Toyota is recalling nearly 2.2 million more cars to fix problems related to floor mats that can trap gas pedals and cause vehicles to accelerate uncontrollably. Among the models being recalled: The Toyota RAV4, 4-Runner and Highlander, and the Lexus LX 570, RX 330, RX 350 and and RX 400h.

Honda Recalls 700,000 Vehicles on Engine Problems

Honda (HMC) is recalling almost 700,000 vehicles because of problems that could cause engines to stall.
The affected vehicles include Fit, Freed and City compact car models in Asia and North America, BBC News reported.
More than 100 complaints have been filed about the fault, though no accidents have been reported.
